Russia’s Far East Kamchatka Peninsula
Six years after kayaking Lake Baikal in Central Siberia, Cathleen and
Scott returned in April 2008 to backcountry ski Kamchatka – a prominent
peninsula located in Russia’ Far East. Experience this fascinating place
through their dramatic still photography, video and audio. Learn about
Russia’s expansive land of Fire and Ice, its amazing skiing, its battle to
grow a sustainable eco-tourism economy and its remarkable people.

Lake Baikal: Expedition Kayaking the World’s Oldest Body of Water
In August 2002, Cathleen and Scott were part of a four person team to
kayak Central Siberia’s Lake Baikal. This presentation provides insight into
what it was like to travel independently in a country not familiar with such
autonomous explorers. Spectacular imagery captures the amazing people and
majestic beauty of the area, as well as the fortunate circumstances and
difficulties their small group encountered in their five week tour of this
remote part of Russia.

The Pacific Crest Trail: On Foot from Mexico to Canada
Join Scott as he thru-hikes the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to
Canada. This 2,600 miles journey took him almost 6 months. Stunning photos
merge with entertaining stories about trail life and an honest discussion
about long-distance backpacking.

Denali: To the Summit and Back
In 2004 Scott climbed to 22,030 feet to stand atop Denali’s summit (Mt.
McKinley), the highest point in North America. This short, inspirational
program discusses personal determination and the sport of mountaineering as
told through beautiful photographs of the Alaska Range.

Expedition Kayaking
With over a half-dozen expedition kayaking trips, this presentation uses
amazing imagery of Alaskan scenery and wildlife to provide tips and tricks
of expedition kayaking and travel. Logistical advice is also offered and
what to consider when traveling to far flung regions.
